BRIQ is a general contractor that renovates townhouses, city homes and apartments in Antwerp, from the first demolition to the last finish. We work from our office in Mechelen, with one dedicated project manager as your point of contact.
Every Antwerp property calls for its own approach
The challenge often lies in the location and in what is already there. At LUJA in Berchem, all materials had to come in through the front door. For Penthouse Antwerp, on the twelfth floor overlooking the Stadspark, we installed a large construction hoist against the building during the works.
We look at that practical side in advance. We map the existing situation and draw up one schedule together, which we follow up every week at the site meeting with you and your architect. Changes are priced in advance and only carried out after your approval.
Townhouses, with respect for what is already there
At COGELS we brought an outspoken design by Contekst to life in a historic townhouse: authentic elements were carefully preserved, restored and incorporated into a contemporary whole.
TOKA received a total renovation with Made architects, with a mezzanine for an office and dressing room, three new bathrooms and a new kitchen. The client then also entrusted us with the complete restoration of the front facade.

Building with your architect
In Antwerp we have worked with Contekst, Made architects, Studio Okami, Fransfrance architecten and Cosna architecten, among others. At LUJA the architect designed the conversion of her own family home, and Riverside is the apartment of one of the partners of Studio Okami.

With a professional space, every day you are closed counts. The Antwerp music shop Crescendo could only close for 2 to 3 weeks. That is why we prepared the works for four months and made a schedule by the hour. The execution then took three weeks.

Yes. BRIQ works within about 30 minutes of Mechelen, and Antwerp falls within that area. You can meet us at our office in Mechelen, or we can visit the place you want to renovate.
Can BRIQ renovate an apartment in a high-rise building?
Yes. Among other things, we transformed an apartment on the twelfth floor into a spacious penthouse and contributed to the renovation of an apartment on the fifteenth floor. We look at the supply of materials and people in advance: for the penthouse we installed a large construction hoist against the building.
What does a total renovation in Antwerp cost?
A total renovation at BRIQ starts from €100,000. Most projects are between €350,000 and €1,000,000; the largest go up to €3,000,000. After the introductory meeting and the site visit, you will receive a complete, detailed quotation within four weeks on average.
When can the works start?
Works usually start 2 to 4 months after the contract is signed.
